GET.invest Matchmaking
The ARE Energy Access Investment Forum will feature a GET.invest Matchmaking Session. The session will provide participants with the opportunity to connect with potential business partners, public and private investors and policymakers in a series of selected personal meetings.
The proven GET.invest Matchmaking format offers:
- An online platform, where participants can present themselves and their business, browse the profiles of other attendees, and request meetings with a single click
- A free mobile app (available on the App Store and Google Play) where participants can manage their meetings when- and wherever they want
- A series of personal meetings with conversation partners of choice
- Onsite personal assistance from the GET.invest Matchmaking team during the event
GET.invest Matchmaking sessions are part of the services offered by GET.invest to mobilise investments in renewable energy projects and businesses. The programme is supported by the European Union, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands and Austria as part of their efforts to support sustainable energy development in partner countries.

PLEASE NOTE: All times at the Agenda are set in EAT.
The GET.invest Matchmaking with bilateral virtual meetings will be
held from Tuesday 14 June 9am-6pm EAT until Wednesday 15 June 9am-6pm EAT. During this time period,
each participant will be able to request meetings for
15 minutes. During the scheduling process, you will be
notified whether the requested meeting time is outside the usual
business hours of the requested meeting partners (depending on his/her
time zone settings).
Where will my meetings take place?
Your meetings will take place on this webpage. No need to install any software. Please revise your agenda (see header menu) to inform about the starting time of your meetings and join the meeting by clicking on the button "Start meeting".
Anything else I need to note?
Please be punctual for your virtual meetings and respect the time of other matchmaking partipants.
Your meeting partner does not show up for the virtual meeting? - Please use the "Message" button and ask him/her to join the meeting or re-schedule the meeting to another date/time. If you need any further assistance, please contact the matchmaking organisation team via the support button.
What are the technical requirements for the virtual meetings?
Use devices with a Webcam & Microphone installed, preferably a computer having a webcam and microphone installed (laptop, tablet, etc).
There is no need to install any software.
Virtual GET.invest Matchmaking - How does it work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. 15 minutes run fast, but they are enough to build first connections before the meeting ends and the next talk starts.
How the GET.invest Matchmaking works:
Once you have published your business profile online, it will be visible to all registered participants. You can change your profile at any time. The better the quality of your profile, the more requests you will receive.
When you are participating at the Forum:
The GET.invest Matchmaking organisation team will be at your disposal at the Forum.
